Game-theoretic AI, Mechanisms, Behavior, Incentives & Trustworthiness — researching game theory, mechanism design and fairness, with applications spanning machine learning and AI in finance, to build systems that behave well under strategic and ethical constraints.
Meet the Lab
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad. Previously, I was a postdoctoral researcher with game theory group, Technion-Israel Institute of technology and prior to that I did my PhD from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
GAMBIT Lab — Game-theoretic AI, Mechanisms, Behavior, Incentives & Trustworthiness — is a research group in the Department of Artificial Intelligence at IIT Hyderabad, led by Dr. Ganesh Ghalme. We work at the intersection of game theory, mechanism design and machine learning, with a focus on building learning systems that remain fair, robust and well-behaved when deployed among strategic agents, including applications in AI for finance.
